Defending Gotham City against a myriad of super villains, Adam West and Burt Ward star as Batman and Robin in this classic, campy 1960's incarnation of the caped crusader's crime-fighting exploits. Serving as Commissioner Gordon's (Neil Hamilton) go-to guys against nefarious foes such as The Joker (Cesar Romero), The Penguin (Burgess Meredith) and Cat Woman (Julie Newmar), Batman and Robin dispatch the bad guys and their hoards of henchman. With big-names such as Milton Berle and Vincent Price playing the super villains and other celebrity cameos by such names as Dick Clark, Sammy Davis Jr. and Jerry Lewis peppered throughout, Batman offered a number of serious actors and other celebrities an environment in which to be silly, have some fun and gain exposure with a POW!, BAM!, ZONK!
